Hannah Searing

Team Leader, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research

Ms. Searing has 20 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and applied research for international public health agencies and for bilateral and multilateral organizations working in FP, maternal health, and infectious diseases. During the past eight years, she has served as a Director and Team Leader of Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (ME&R) at Engenderhealth for the RESPOND and ACQUIRE Projects.

Currently, she is responsible for the development and implementation of RESPOND's M&E strategy that includes the development and implementation of the Project Management Plan (PMP); directing the collection, analysis, and use of program data for decision making; and overseeing the implementation of RESPOND research efforts. Ms. Searing has adapted and implemented survey methodology; developed and monitored clinical research studies; designed and led qualitative research projects; and developed monitoring information systems in numerous countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. She holds a dual MA-MHS degree in African History and International Health from the University of Toronto and the Johns Hopkins University.
