Long-Acting and Permanent Methods Community of Practice - Join Us!

In June 2009, RESPOND formed a Community of Practice (CoP) to engage interested collaborators in a process of collective learning and knowledge-sharing in the domain of family planning (especially LA/PMs). The LA/PM CoP's primary purposes are as follows:

  • To serve as a regular venue for the exchange of LA/PM learning and experience among key organizations and USAID-funded projects that are involved in LA/PM service delivery (including research and training).
  • To conduct at least one annual technical consultation to advance issues of interest to the CoP.
  • To convene working groups on special topics to share lessons learned, compile best practices and identify gaps requiring data analysis and research to inform the programmatic agenda and strategies to revitalize LA/PMs as a group or individual methods.

Access to the LA/PM CoP is available through the Implementing Best Practices (IBP) Knowledge Gateway at http://my.ibpinitiative.org.  We invite you to join us!
